The beauty of the Internet is that it has allowed businesses to get more in touch with its customers, knowing what they want and what they think needs to be improved in the businesses' line of products and services. This continuous collaboration between businesses and clients have spurred better working relationships between two parties.
However, your business does not have to communicate things exclusively about its line of products and services, when it can simply get in touch with present and potential clients without becoming too business-like. Maybe it's time to start your company's blog. And when you start a company blog, better ditch the word "corporate" in it, because a business blog is supposed to be personal (yes, it is personal) and can be related to the personal experiences of your clients. What your business blog should really turn out ultimately depends on you, but there are a few guidelines that you can always rely on. A company blog should not just be a place where people could see copies of your company's press releases. Though you may include those, it is encouraged that practically anyone within the company can post content on the company blog, just so it may be given a very diverse view on many things. But just as the topics may be diverse because of the different people writing for it, a company blog should also have a core intent in its posts so that visitors will know what to expect. In order to spur further interaction with your clients, you should engage them in dialogue, and that does not mean posting things that can be incendiary. Your company blog could just stick with asking questions regarding the lives of their clients or their opinions, while at the same time trying to reply to their comments as regularly as possible. Otherwise, there's just no use putting up a company blog that clients and ordinary visitors cannot relate to, right? You can talk about...
